My uncle, Louis Diaz, has received the Gibraltar Award as part of the New Year Honours My Uncle Louis has been battling cancer for a year now and it’s quite likely that this year will be his last, so I’m just really glad that he has been recognised ‘for his services to music in Gibraltar’ while he’s still around.

Baking shortbread biscuits :)
Just because they’re my boyfriend’s fave. I bought Christmas tree shaped cookie cutters so that I could make them nice & festive but the dough is much too crumbly so I need to stick to simple, regular shapes :( I’ll just dust them with icing sugar once they’re ready so they look a little snowy I really hope they turn out well. I’ve made tons of other biscuits...
